Crystal Palace Vs Chelsea:
Chelsea face off against Palace for the chance to equal their longest run of Premier League games undefeated, set in September 2009. Palace have scored just three goals in their past seven trips to the Bridge which makes it tough seeing them getting a result out of this one. Eden Hazard’s injury becomes a little concerning when looking at the goal markets, as it is still unclear whether he will start or not, I suggest keeping clear.
Best: Chelsea WIN ($1.58)
West Ham Vs Hull City:
Hull City have lost their past six games away from home as well as failing to score in four of them. However in this one, expect Hull to put up more of a fight. With the Hammers dropping a total of 12 points from winning positions this season, higher than any other team, the Tigers will always see themselves as a chance.
Best: Both Teams to Score ($1.74)
Sunderland Vs Watford:
The Black Cats have failed to score in just three of their past 36 league games against Watford. The Hornets tend to struggle at the Stadium of Light, losing four of their last five visits. Despite Jermain Defoe having a direct hand in 71% of Sunderland’s goals this season, he has never found the back of the net against Watford. An end to end game this one will be; however, I’m predicting the firing Hornets to be held back this weekend.
Best: Draw ($3.00)
Stoke City vs Leicester:
A resilient Stoke last week saw punters rewarded if they followed my under 2.5 goals prediction, I expect similar this weekend. The champions have conceded just three goals in their past five meetings with the Potters. Jamie Vardy scored on both occasions last season against Stoke, however, has scored just once in his last nine appearances away from home. A tight affair this one will be for sure.
Best: Under 2.5 Goals ($1.74)
Middlesbrough Vs Swansea City:
Falling asleep for an eleven minute period cost the Swans as they fell victim to a Rondon hat-trick against the Baggies. This week, however, I have kept my faith. Unfortunately not much history between these two, this will be their first meeting in the top-flight since 1982. Middlesbrough have scored the fewest goals in the league this season along with the fewest shots on target. Upset written all over this one.
Best: Swansea Win ($3.85)
West Bromwich Albion Vs Manchester United:
The Red Devils did not make it easy for themselves mid-week, however, individual class from Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic led United to a late win over Crystal Palace. Incredibly, the Baggies have only lost two of their last six games against United, winning three of them. Tough to confidently back United in this one, stick to the goal markets.
Best: Under 2.5 Goals ($1.70)
Bournemouth Vs Southampton:
The Saints are seriously struggling to find the back of the net this season, recent departures through the transfer window have finally taken its toll on the club as we saw them fail to score against a ten-man Stoke mid-week. Bournemouth, on the other hand, have conceded 24 goals in their nine Premier League games on a Sunday. I expect Bournemouth to keep the pain going for the Saints.
Best: Bournemouth Win ($2.88)
Manchester City vs Arsenal:
City were able to keep just their second clean sheet of the season mid-week and coming up against the link of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil; I find it difficult for the Citizens to go back to back. Manchester City will also still be without Sergio Aguero as he serves his suspension. Although we cannot underestimate what City are capable of at home, losing only to Chelsea all season. The past six matches between these two have produced 24 goals, and I expect this trend to continue.
Tottenham vs Burnley:
Tottenham have won the previous five encounters against the Lilywhites. Burnely have failed to score in a league-high eight matches this season while the Spurs have conceded just eleven goals all season. Unless we see yet another man of the match performance from Burnley keeper, Tom Heaton, expect Spurs to get through this one rather comfortably.
Best: Tottenham to Win to Nil ($1.91)
Everton vs Liverpool:
The Reds returned to their winning ways with a win over Middlesbrough midweek while Everton ended Arsenal’s 14 match unbeaten league run. With both clubs securing crucial victories, expect a tight one on this occasion. Liverpool are unbeaten against Everton for 11 derbies, their longest run against them since 1984.
Best: Under 2.5 Goals ($2.08)
